INSTRUCTIONS
The 2024 school census will be a complete enumeration of all schools and learners in the country. The purpose of the census is to create a complete inventory of all basic educational private and public institutions, that is Pre-primary, Primary, Junior, Secondary and Pre-vocational Schools. The census aims to gather essential information including but not limited to; school ownership, enrollment, infrastructure, expenditure, employment and geographical location.
The census will provide up-to-date information regarding basic education and fill the existing data gaps to ensure accurate and consistent yearly reporting on the performance of the education sector. The information will serve to verify and update data in National Education Management Information System (NEMIS).
For Advance Questionnaires, it is expected that Head of Institution will:
(a) DOWNLOAD & PRINT the Questionnaire: the institution (pre-school, primary, junior school, prevocation SNE school or secondary school) will fill in all section as required. DOWNLOAND Guidelines HERE to use fill the Advance Questionnaires.
(b) DOWNLOAD, INSTALL & CAPTURE Data Using the Tangerine Application: It is expected that each institution will download the Tangerine APP to be used to capture Advanced Questionnaire Data filled in (a).
